I am presently working on a series of oil pastels on cardboard of LA figurative and costume models. These woman and men are painted and drawn all over LA from the suburbs to the city, from the film studios to individual artist’s studios. They are the faces and bodies of the figurative art movement of our time. I am documenting them through my work at my private, studio workshop I hold each Wednesday called Imaginings Sketch. Each model brings with them their point of view and the infinity of who they are, posing as they want to be seen, and wearing costuming of their own selection.
