The L.I.F.E. Animial Rescue non-profit organization is helping to rescue dogs and cats giving them much deserved homes. On Saturday, May 5th, 2012 which is Cinco De Mayo at the Agoura Hills Calabasas Community Center from 7 to 11 PM they are host an event to raise funds for this cause. You can go to www.lifeanimalrescue.org to buy tickets for this amazing event. There will be appetizers, dinner, a no host bar, live music, and a Rescue Dog Fashion Show, and silent auction, as well as raffle prizes.
Some of the local organizations who have donated time, money, and raffel items are; Paradise Cove, Baoccacios Restaurant, Dukes, Ciscos, Lazy Dog Café, La Jolla Mariotte, the Sherwood Country Club, Starbuck and Brighten.
Some of the people that have contributed items and gift baskets are Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimel, David Letterman and Betty White. Our contributing visual artist is local artist Sheila Fein of Fein Fantasy Portraits. Her work was recently purchased at a Gala for Luekemia this past Saturday by actor Mindy Sterling from the Austin Powers blockbusters.
There are so many animals waiting for homes and you can make a difference!!
