Thoughts About Photography

I have been drawing and painting ever since I can remember. There are no pictures of my siblings or of me from our chaotic childhoods. When my older brother gave me my first brownie camera in 6th grade he opened my world. I am visual. I see the world in frames and clicks. The images I paint stay with me until I complete them. I am bombarded with images that want to become solid. That is why I take pictures. They become my muse and my reference. I am only at the beginning of my explorations and one lifetime does not feel enough to explore my potential to create and to comunicate it.
